Opened on Jan. 28, 2010, Seoul Art Space_Mullae was conceived and created to provide support for the artists working in the Arts village of Mullae, a pre-existing artistic community in the middle of the old industrial complex.
Seoul Art Space_Mullae was renovated from an old iron foundry building, and with Seoul Art Space Geumcheon the art factory is expected to become a stronghold of the local culture of the west and southern areas of Seoul.
he Art Space has a multi-purpose hall for performances and exhibitions, a recording room, an editing room,
a collaboration work place, and hostel rooms for resident artists.
In addition, Seoul Art Space_Mullae provides support for exchanges among artists as well as for their creative works and future development as artists, thereby paving a new path of providing support for the arts and artists.
By implementing the Incubator Program for artists, international exchange programs, and festivals, the Space will function as the platform for international exchanges as well as a symbolic art space of Mullae-dong.
